Experience

I have led complex, high-profile recruitment processes in the Private, Public and Not-for-profit sectors, ranging from APS-level through to SES/CEO appointments. I enjoy sharing my extensive knowledge of recruitment methodologies, selection guidelines and interview techniques with candidates and clients alike.

I have coached clients in designing effective recruitment processes, role identification and description, attraction strategies and ad copy, defining the ideal candidate, interview venue and preparation, designing interview questions, candidate assessment, conducting reference checks, and providing candidate feedback.

I also especially love coaching candidates in one-on-one or group settings, to help them make the most of their qualifications and experience in winning their job of choice. I guide you through each stage of the process; your resume as a factual marketing document, the relationship between your examples and referees, researching the role and organisation, putting yourself ‘in’ the role, addressing selection criteria or writing a ‘pitch’, preparing for the interview including choosing questions and answers, presenting a professional image, rehearsal, ‘the performance’, getting the most from feedback, and lessons learned.

Complementing my recruitment and training expertise, is over 20 years’ experience contracting to a wide range of organisations across various industries in roles spanning recruitment consulting, adult education, international project and event management, administration and finance.

I have completed tertiary studies in Project Management, Linguistics, Psychology, Communication, and am currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice (Communication) as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

In addition to my corporate experience, I am also a qualified Image Consultant specialising in personal presentation for business.

Outside the business arena, I am an accomplished horsewoman and ballroom dance teacher, lover of all things equine and canine, and above all, a self-confessed, unashamed style addict.
